Honours Project.
My Honours project is based on a project I done
in first year called "100". The idea is to find something
for £1 or less, draw it 100 times and write 100
words about that object. That object I chose
was a wooden puppet for 50p and a wooden
lion for £1.

Screenprinting.
Prints drying.
The screen.
Helen my tutor, who specialises in
screenprinting, showed us how its done.
Me cleaning a screen.
Colours go on individually. The black
will be added later.
These are just some of the screenprinted posters me
and a few of my classmates and tutor done. They
are for our degree show, which is focused
around the theme of superstitons. The
colour scheme of the show
is red, black and white.
It was my first time
screenprinting and
I LOVED IT!!
Superstition.
This is a response for my degree show theme based around
superstitions as the show will open on Friday the 13th
of June. My superstition is "shoes on a table".
Cath Kidston pattern brief for YCN.

These are my final patterns for the Cath Kidston YCN brief.
The brief was to create a new conversational pattern on the
basis of it representing the brands identity of fun, cheekiness
and the British sense of humour. I based my print on the British
seaside and my pattern represents cheeky seagulls swooping down
to steal your chips. I chose typical Cath Kidston
colours for the backgrounds to fit in with the
brands identity.
Cream.
Light Blue.
Mint Green.
WE SELL FAGS!!
A print inspired by a sign that caught my eye
while on a trip to Blackpool for research.
It made me laugh but don't think Cath Kidston
would approve of this on her tea towels.
Other Pattern Ideas..
With Background.
Digitally coloured.
Digitally coloured.
Original drawings-I prefer this style
it shows off my mark making more.
Here are some other pattern ideas I tried.
Some are originals while others where
coloured digitally. All patterns were
coloured and assembled on Photoshop.
